Saturday sledding
We all had a relaxing Saturday!
Evey woke up at 5:45, sat up in her crib and played with her bees. Ty ended up waking up at 6 so Joshua got Evey changed and headed downstairs to get them breakfast. She ate all of her waffle and drank all of her water. Ty was talking really loud and ended up waking everyone up because he was so excited to get outside to play in the snow.
Joshua made cinnamon rolls and sausage pinwheels (Sister Shubert's) for breakfast. They were amazing! After doing some laundry, we all got ready to go outside. We put Evey in the stroller so that the kids could find hills throughout the neighborhood to sled down. We found a couple of good ones and we let them sled down them for a while. There were a lot of four wheelers out so we headed back to the house to play in the backyard. While the big kids were sledding Evey took a small 20 minute nap in the stroller.
We came inside and made hotdogs and french fries for everyone to enjoy. Evey ate chicken nuggets and fries. After we got cleaned up Evey, Joshua and I took a long 1.5 hour nap. It was one of those deep sleep naps and when we woke up we all felt rejuvenated! Laney worked on her painting and Jonah played with his legos and watched a movie with Ty.
After nap, we all had a little snack. Joshua attempted to go to the grocery store so that we could meal prep for next week, but they were out of everything that we needed so he will try again tomorrow at a few different stores.
Evey needed a change of scenery so Joshua took her into the playroom with the boys. She loved hanging out in there. She really likes getting the lightsabers and waving them in the air.
She was in a silly mood tonight and it took her awhile to go to sleep. She eventually fell asleep around 8pm.
Tomorrow we will enjoy sleeping in and watching church online. Then we will meal prep and work prep for our week ahead and pray for more snow!
